Why people don’t talk to me.

With a person who left my company to move to a small town and be a stay-at-home Mom:

- Well, it was nice seeing you again, Greg.

- Yeah, I guess you got to get back to--what was the name of the place--Pleasantville, right?

- That’s funny. Though it is strange driving in the Bay Area again. Sometimes where I live I’m the only car on the road.

- Well, at least that gives you lots of Northern Exposure.

- Okay, I’ve got to be going now.

- Back to Wisteria Lane, eh?

I’m, um, not stalking you though.  Really.  Only a little bit, anyway.  I just happened to click the back link on your links page today… Very nice though!

(p.s. Erasing people’s comments so they have to retype them when they don’t fill in email—bad.)

do you ever feel as if you’ve taken something as far as it can go and yet still continue on? i do that sometimes and it’s a bit embarrassing. oh and awkward. let’s not forget that little bit of fun.
