I’d like to think that one is never too old for a brain freeze…

Never had one of those “brain-freeze"things—doubt they actually exist—buncha wusses.

What do you call it when all of the sudden everyone gets on the same topic?  lately I’m hearing all sorts of folks, young and old, talking about brain freezes.

Ow - I hate it when that happens!  When drinking a frosty drink, there is such a thing as attacking it with too much gusto!

I get brain freezes all the time, even without cold beverages.

I think mine are called ‘menopause’, though. 

I had one like two days ago when I scarfed a smoothie a little too enthusiastically.  I was also in the middle of a conversation with someone.  No shame.

yep. still get them from slurpees.

did you know (supposively) that if you push your thumb really hard against the roof of your mouth during a brain freeze, it goes away?  basically pain cancels out pain (especially if your thumb nail is long and does a little scrapey scrape of the roof)

I think the main thing you’ve learned here is that you could be going through menopause.

Hey Dave, maybe you lack the requisite equipment?  Worth looking into, anyway.  =)
